There is a lot to be said about the Irish capital but let´s start with the fact that I love, love, love Dublin. All three times I have visited the city, it managed to surprise me and fill me up with great new experiences and emotions.
Founded by the Vikings, the city lies on the east coast of Ireland, at the moth of the river Liffey and offers a little something for everyone. No matter if you are coming for the numerous pubs, historical sites or fun tours, one thing is sure – you will be content with your visit.
For first-time visitors I strongly recommend the Dublin Pass, because it practically gives access to all main sightseeing, without having to wait on lines to obtain your ticket. It also provides a free drink or desert in chosen bars and restaurants.
An attraction worth visiting and not included in the pass is the National Leprechaun Museum, where the little people come to life in front of your eyes. You will learn about their habits, and also curious ways to steal their gold.
The brave at heart may try one of the many night ghost tours that will make you laugh and give you chills at the same time. If you don´t feel adventurous, dedicate your night to a pub crow or a literary experience.
If you wanna learn more about Dublin, stay tuned, because this amazing place will be the topic of my following posts.
